Jack And The Magic Beanstalk

A cow is the only fortune that Jack and his mother possess. One day, when the cow no longer gives milk, Jack goes to a market to sell it. On his way, he meets a man who persuades him to sell the cow for five beans that he says are magic. When Jack’s mother finds out what he has done, she flies into a terrible rage and throws the beans out of the window. The next day, Jack discovers that the beans have grown into a beanstalk, a green mass of twisting tendrils that reach up into the sky as far as the eye can see. Intrigued, he starts to climb up it…
