Davide Calì (author) is a cartoonist and author for children, his books have been published in France (Sarbacane, Rue du Monde, Little Urban, ABC Melody, Elan Vert, Gallimard, Actes Sud), Italy (Kite, Edizioni Clichy, Orecchio Acerbo, Biancoenero), Spain (Nube Ocho), Portugal (Bruàa), USA (Chronicle Books, Harper Collins), Canada (Comme des Géants, Tundra Books) and translated in over 30 countries. He has published more than 200 illustrated books, comics and novels, and has received as many awards in France, Belgium, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, USA. Several companies in France, Belgium, Italy and Japan have adapted his books (L’ennemi et Moi j’attends) for children’s theatre . He regularly collaborates with several French monthly for children, including “Mes Premiers J’aime lire”, “Toboggan” and “Tralalire”.
