Author & Illustrator

Timothée Cantard (author) is a geographer and naturalist who works as an independent ecologist in Brittany. Alongside his research, he leads science outreach activities and teaches about the living world. He is the creator of the Breton fanzine Cui-Cui, which brings together artists and naturalists. He lives near Brest, France.

Louise Gouet (illustrator) uses a blend of traditional techniques, painting with gouache and adding texture and detail with coloured pencils and pastels. She also draws inspiration from the antique botanical books she collects. She lives in Cancale, Brittany, France.
