Listen to… Can’t you hear Nature singing, vibrating and breathing?
Two gardens exist side by side: one inhabited by a young girl and the other by a grumpy old man. But one day, the serenity of the two gardens is disrupted by the appearance of large purple caterpillars that begin to devour the plants. The girl decides to fight them with natural products, while he uses poisonous powders. But neither of them manages to get rid of them and they both give up their garden and shut themselves away at home. But a little mole will have a friendly and positive attitude towards these caterpillars, and by listening to the song of Nature, she will know how to recognise the beauty of Nature, which will heal the plants and remind us that we must welcome it in all its forms, because we are part of a whole.
The aim of this book is to transmit respect for nature, which is the main character of this book in fact, and for all forms of life, reminding us of the need for balance in everything. The invitation to listen to nature also allows us to reflect on the relationships between individuals, for which mutual attention and respect for diversity are necessary.

Illustrator and writer of children’s books, I have been collaborating with the publisher Artebambini since 2004, both for the publication of illustrated books and articles in the magazine Dada. My books have given rise to performances both in Italy and abroad. I am passionate about photography and like to experiment with new possibilities of contamination between this art form and writing.
Born in Pordenone in 1972, I studied graphic design and photography. I have illustrated about fifty children’s books, published in Italy, Korea, Spain and other countries. I have participated in many illustration exhibitions, including the Bologna Fair, the Portuguese biennial “Ilustrarte”, the international illustration exhibition “Images of Fantasy” in Sarmede (IT), the personal exhibition organized by Viive Noor in 2018 at the Estonian Centre for Children’s Literature in Tallinn (Estonia), travelling to other important cultural centres of children’s literature in Estonia. In 2009 the 8th IBBY Regional Conference of Northwestern University of Chicago placed me among the top 23 illustrators of the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, the following year the magazine “dpi” listed me among the top 12 illustrators of the Bologna festival, exhibiting my works in two exhibitions in Taiwan: “In Fingers, Extra Space” (Creative Park for Taipei toy Festival, Taipei) and “Imaginary Fairy Wonderland – dpi International Group Exhibition” (Kaohsiung City). I am currently an illustration teacher at Sarmede International School.
