Little Paths is like a little poem full of images that reveal more as you turn the pages.

With this board book featuring die-cuts—where the words are light, the colors cheerful, and the scenes intimate—little ones will have fun watching one thing reveal another. Surprises guaranteed!

In the same spirit as Little Worlds (2023) and Little Wonders (2024), Agnès Domergue and Clémence Pollet present a small, poetic, and visual work that follows the tracks left by the first steps of very young animals and a child, on the extraordinary paths that open up to them at every moment of their new lives.

Author & Illustrator

Agnès Domergue is a professional musician. She is a member of the Antarès Quartet and a viola teacher. Since 2011, she has been illustrating and writing children’s literature. She is the author of the series Il était une fois…, Contes en haïku, Autrefois l’Olympe…, Mythes en haïku and Auprès de La Fountain…, Fables en haïku published by Thierry Magnier between 2013 and 2016. HongFei previously published her text Animal Totem illustrated by Clémence Pollet.

A graduate of the École Estenne (Paris) and the HEAR (Strasbourg), Clémence Pollet has been illustrating for children since 2009. Published by HongFei since 2012, she has become an emblematic figure in the house’s catalogue, notably with La Ballade de Mulan (2015), La Traversée (2017), L’Atente (2021) and Animal Totem on a text by Agnès Domergue (2018). In the course of her creations, she develops a universe marked by the variety of her techniques, the elegance and the character of her style.
