Listen to water in all its forms. Water that caresses and refreshes, hydrates and carries life.

Between the pages of this book, readers will hear the patter of rain, the silence of springs, the cry of the storm.

They will feel a tear of sadness fall, or the echo of a kiss on the cheek.

They will see water everywhere — water that caresses and cools, hydrates and carries life.

Halfway between visual poetry and nonfiction, the second volume of the Rivages trilogy explores the theme of water. With gentleness, a child evokes the many transformations of water, its countless uses, the sensations it creates, and the images and sounds it inspires.

The Rivages trilogy is dedicated to the beauty of nature and the sensations it awakens.

Morgane Bellec

Morgane Bellec, an illustrator based in the Côtes-d’Armor region of Brittany (France), has never lost touch with her childhood passion: drawing. From art workshops to graphic design studios in Paris, she stands out for her sensitive, gentle style. Her pastel tones invite you to travel and contemplate.

In 2020, she illustrated children’s tableware distributed internationally by Hermès. At the same time, she brought out her first children’s book, À dos de loup (On the back of a wolf), published by Voce verso.

Since then, Morgane has drawn every day. Some of her personal creations are on show at the Galerie Club Sensible (Paris VIe), at Atelier b8 in Saint-Brieuc and on her social networks. In partnership with UNESCO, she is currently working on a new collection of children’s books, and is looking for new projects in the press and publishing industry.
