The Author
Anne Cortey studied art history. She worked in children’s bookshops, then freelanced in children’s publishing, and now publishes albums with Albin Michel and Sarbacane, and novels with L’École des Loisirs.
The Illustrator
Illustrator and poster designer Thomas Baas is a graduate of the Arts décoratifs de Strasbourg (Claude Lapointe studio). He has published numerous books, notably with Actes-Sud, Gallimard, Albin-Michel and Sarbacane. His work is as elegant as it is intelligent and tender, appealing to young and old alike.
